Last night I was asked to speak of the Worcester Literary Festival’s Speakeasy night at St Swithun’s Hall (a rather nice tucked-away venue in the centre of Worcester). It’s the first time I have ever recited any of my writing in public – and it was a bit nerve-wracking. But I think it went reasonably well and people seemed to enjoy my recitation of ‘Panto’, which was first published in the Woman magazine.
